The director of The DonauSchule is Renate Losoncy, a native German speaker and Board member of the German Language School Conference (GLSC - www.germanschools.org). The DonauSchule was founded in 1993 under the auspices of the Austrian American Society of PA while Frau Losoncy taught in the Language Department at The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Our teachers are experienced in working with elementary , middle school and high school students. All are members of the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) and active in the profession.
